The 30 Day Snap!

I have decided to do Lousie's (sprinkle of glitter) 30 day snap challenge. It just sounds like a really nice idea and instead of it being like a #photoaday challenge on Instagram (which I NEVER complete, you can ask any of my followers) where you take a picture of what it says for that day,  you can take a picture of anything you want. I'm actually really excited and determined to make this the first photo challenge I finish. :D

A Nice Day For A White Wedding

Not too long ago my uncle and (now) auntie got married, and it was a really lovely and classy day. It was very personal and quite small (considering how much family we actually have) it took place in a little hotel in Looe, Cornwall (my fave place on earth). I really enjoyed the day and night, even though I was named head babysitter and ended up looking after tired babies and bored toddlers. As I took a million and one pictures of the day I thought I would share some of them, in a kind of 'what I did' fashion...

So the day began with looking after these two absolute cuties whilst their dad (my uncle) got ready :D

Then it was time for 4 girls to try and get ready in the same room with one mirror and one bathroom :/ but some how we managed it and in 45 minutes for some :P

Next we all jumped in many cars and drove to the hotel to drop the kids off and carry on to the registry office. It was a really nice service and it didn't last too long which meant that there was lots of time to take pictures of the newly weds <3

This is one of my favourite pictures from the entire day because when Amy decided she was going to take my uncle Kev's last name we both got very excited because we are now both called Amy Higgins :D

Once every one was back at the hotel it was time to partyyyyy :D 

As this was one of the rare occasions that all my dads brothers were together with all their children, I took advantage of that and we got some 'cousin pictures'

Instagram Diary #1

Happy Wednesday Peoples :D 

As I am an crazy Instagram user I thought it would be a good idea to start a Instagram Diary. I really love taking pictures of me and my friends/family, thing I'm doing and things I'm loving. And Instagram is a really cool way to edit and share your pictures, so here we go...

The Zoo and Being Ill!

This week hasn't been great because I got a viral bug and tonsillitis :/ not good at all. So I haven't been to college all week but on Tuesday I went on a psychology trip to the zoo. Which was loads of fun! I absolutely love the zoo, its great looking at all the different animals and stuff like that. I'm lucky that some of my closest friends are in my psychology class so we had a really fun time, the main thing we had to do was observe apes which didn't take long and was a laugh. Then we got the chance to go round the rest of the zoo and see the other animals,I was very excited when we found the Meerkats because they are my second favorite animal (guinea pigs are my favorites). And we also found a little Merry go-Round (for like 5 year olds) which was brilliant :D. So the zoo was definitely the high light of my week.

New Bedroom Items!

Within the next 2-3 weeks my family and I are moving house, which I am extremely excited about, as I get to design my new bedroom. When my mom first bought the house it was derelict, completely empty and needed new everything. So I am so very lucky to have the chance to choose everything for my room, from the carpet to the light switch, and because of this we have been waiting a long time to move in. Since around Christmas I have either been given, as prezzies for Christmas, or I have bought some cute little things for my new room. So I thought I would share what I have gathered in this post, a lot of my inspiration has come from Zoella's room tour which is very cute and I love it. 

DISCLAIMER: I am not trying to brag about any of the things I have!

First are these 2 little plate things which I got from IKEA, I think they were about £1.25 each. I really liked these because of the colour (which matches my bed) and the detail around the edges. I am going to use these, one for holding rings and the other for the rose candle in the picture above which is also from IKEA.

These 2 pots are next they are from the matching set as the plates, and I love them. They are just the right size for either pens, make up brushes or bits of make up like lip gloss tubes/mascaras/eye liners.

Next is this lantern thing which I'm going to put tea lights in, I got this from Dunelm Mill (which I think you can only get here in the UK). It's super cute and I especially love the little latch to open the door, as it looks quite rustic.

This is a really pretty tea light holder that my Momma got me from the Valentines sale at Sainsburys. I really love it and it matches quite well with the plates and pots from IKEA.   

Next is my bed side lamp, this is from B&Q. The bird cage effect is why I got this because I have a slight obsession with birds and bird cages even though I am petrified by real birds. I like the hanging beads and once again the detailing on it matches the other things above.

Finally, I have yet another tea light holder and yet another bird cage. I was given this for Christmas by my Nan, it is really lovely and when there is a lit candle in it (and the lights are off) it creates butterfly shadows all over the room.

Also in all of the pictures you will have seen my bed sheets, I did buy them for my new room but I couldn't resist putting then on my bed early :D 

I hoped you enjoyed taking a look at some of the things that will make up my room :P

Who am I?

I saw my bestest pal Amber's blog (which promises to be awesome) about this and it really made me want to do it. So here goes...

I am...a total worrier! I worry about absolutely EVERYTHING! Even things I shouldn't worry about.  
I want...to have my own family some day (not just yet, far too young at the moment)
I have...the least comfy bed ever, however I find it extremely difficult to get out if it in the morning/afternoon when ever I feel like getting up ;)
I hate...it when people eat loudly. It really gets on my nerves.
I wish...that me, my friends and family all live really good and happy lives.
I fear...being late, falling over in public, losing people, feeling restricted or claustrophobic and getting lost.
I hear...most things I have very good hearing.
I search...for the most random and funny things on Google and YouTube.
I wonder...about how my life is going to turn out.
I regret...not telling people how much they mean to me often enough.
I love...my best friends and family soooo much, especially Lemondrop, Analsley, Wozza, Sal, Rufus and baby Freddie :D
I ache...when I don't get enough sleep. Which isn't very often because i usually over sleep.
I always...try to consider how my actions effect other people before my self.
I usually...leave my homework till the last minute.
I am not...as alone as I used to feel, because of my amazing friends.
I dance...in a crazy way, in my bedroom where people on the street can see me.
I sing...all the time! either out loud or in my head, really loudly so that sometimes my brothers friends can hear me on Xbox live :/
I never...want to upset people.
I sometimes...over think little things.
I cry...at sad films. I love sad films, they are the best.
I am not always...as happy as I pretend to be
I lose...socks all the time, but only one out of the pair.
I am confused...most of the time, it takes me a while to figure things out.
I need to be....more confident and willing to push my own boundaries.   
I should be...more used to the fright I get when I trip up the stairs as I do it nearly everyday.


So that's a little bit more information about me :D

Starting Over

Ok so I'm starting this blog again! I'm sure I've said that so many times but this time I mean it. There are a couple of things I'm changing about this blog, firstly the name. I've changed the name to 'the pretty eyes' because: its my tumblr name and because I didn't like the old name any more, I felt this would be more appropriate for the next change I'm going to make. Which is the kinds of posts I'm going to be making, I'm going to be posting more about my life and what I see happening around me (I want to be able to look back at the blog and see what I've been doing) but I will still post about things that I'm loving at the moment.

Since my last post was from last October I will start from then, I met one of my best friends in September/October last year and I feel that that changed who I am as a person (in a good way). I feel that I am a more outgoing and confident person because of her. I started going out more and doing things I might have been too scared to do before, she has brought me out of my shell. Also around that time I started college which is great :D Then as it was coming towards the end of 2012 I realised that it was one of the best and worst years of my life, for so many reasons. 

Then came 2013!! We are only 3 months in but so far its all going good, there has been bad times but I feel that the good out weigh the bad. Not so long ago I had my first "house party" which was a major thing for me as I NEVER thought I would have be able to do it, but I did and it was great. I really want the rest of the year to keep going as it has started. I'm not going to ask for a perfect year because that's not going to happen, but if keeps going as it is that would be great! So hears to a goodish yeah and my newish blog!
